For new vocalists, we start with the basics: breath control, airflow, and body awareness. Through guided exercises and vocal warmups, we assess your vocal habits—like nasal singing or tongue tension—and train you out of them. Each session includes warmups that target speed, vowel shaping, airflow strength, and rhythmic control. You'll also build your ear with call-and-response exercises, strengthening your ability to hear, match, and eventually create the music.
In just a few months, you’ll notice stronger breath support, a clearer tone, and greater vocal control. We select songs based on your goals—whether you're into jazz, theater, R&B, pop, or improvisation—and use them to stretch your technique and musicality. Want to belt? Sing softly with control? Explore scat or harmony? We’ll get you there with purpose. For more advanced vocalists, we’ll dive into harmonizing, ear training, and improvisation—developing your ability to respond to chord progressions in real-time and craft melodies on the fly.
In a world full of imitation, we guide you toward authenticity—training your voice not to sound like someone else, but to fully become you. Our sessions are thoughtful, playful, and paced to reflect your evolving voice. Whether you're just beginning or deepening your artistry, you’ll learn how to express emotion, technique, and confidence every time you sing.
