Hi, I’m Samantha Aurelio. I live for the moment a student finds their spark—the exact chord, lyric, or vocal run that makes them feel something real. Whether I’m on stage or in the studio (or even in the car, hello LA traffic!), my passion has always been about connection through music, and helping others find their own way to it.

Grammy-nominated songwriter, vocal coach, and the heart behind Aura Studios.

about my aura...

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Vocal Performance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and for the past 13 years, I’ve been lucky enough to coach students from ages 4 to 65 in voice, piano, ukulele, songwriting, performance, and artist development. My background as a performer has taken me from intimate stages to global platforms, and through it all, what’s remained constant is my passion for teaching and guiding others to discover their voice, their artistry, and their aura.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all coaching. Whether you’re preparing for an audition, learning to play your favorite song on the ukulele, or trying to write your first original track, we’ll tailor our sessions to meet your goals. Music should feel both challenging and joyful. At Aura Studios, we make space for both. If you have any questions, I’m always here—don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to connect and help you take your next step in finding your aura.

music training to help you find your aura

...and yours

I often hear students say, “I don’t think I’m good enough to call myself a musician yet,” or “I feel like I’m starting too late.” Let me tell you right now: that voice in your head isn’t the truth. I work best with students who are curious, open, and willing to explore, even if they’re not totally sure where they’re going yet. The biggest challenge I help my students face is learning to trust themselves—to believe they have something worth saying, and that their voice, their sound, their style matters.

And here’s what I’ve learned: that kind of growth doesn’t happen without a little joy. When you’re laughing, playing, experimenting, you’re actually learning the most. That’s where creativity lives, and where the magic happens.

I’ve worked with students who’ve never sung in front of anyone and watched them go on to write original songs, perform onstage, or simply fall in love with the creative process. It’s not about perfection. It’s about showing up, trying, and allowing music to be your mirror. Whether you’re starting from scratch or stepping back into your artistry, I’d love to work with you.
