Our approach is rooted in music theory, because understanding the "why" behind what you're playing empowers you to play anything you want. We begin with scales, then move into chord progressions and tailored warm-up exercises that get your hands and mind ready to flow. From there, we dive into the songs you love, because learning is most powerful when it’s personal and fun.
In just three months, beginners become comfortable navigating the keyboard; by six months, you’ll recognize your own progress in the form of songs you actually enjoy playing. Around the nine-month mark, students often find themselves truly playing—and feeling—the music. For intermediate and advanced students, we focus on refining your technique, identifying skill gaps, and deepening your musicianship through sight reading, rhythmic fluency (yes, we get into triplets and grace notes!), expressive dynamics, and more.
Our sessions are collaborative and paced according to your goals. We balance discipline with exploration—helping you develop not only technical skill, but emotional connection to the music. Whether you're learning for joy, performance, or as part of your vocal training, we’ll help you feel confident in your playing, expressive in your artistry, and proud of your progress.
